Before Treatment
The specialist will carefully cleanse the skin. A topical anesthetic may be applied to enhance comfort throughout the procedure.

During Treatment
Once the numbing cream takes effect, the provider will smoothly glide the SkinPen over the target area. The tiny needles create micro-channels in the skin, causing a slight pressure sensation and a mild buzzing feeling, but with little to no discomfort. The session typically lasts around 30 minutes.
After Treatment
Most patients experience mild redness in the treated area, resembling a light sunburn. Other common reactions include dryness, tightness, and some peeling. These effects are temporary and usually fade within 24 to 72 hours. Makeup and sunscreen can be safely applied after 24 hours.
